Photography

I’ve taken a lot of photographs over the years. The hobby started after I acquired my first instamatic camera in the 70s. Now I’m using Nikon D810 and D200 SLRs, a Canon SX720 pocket zoom camera, and a Samsung Galaxy S21 smartphone.

I strive to capture scenes just the way I want them through the lens and mostly use no, or minimal, editing. This allows me to work with jpg files, although I save some raw images. I focus on nature and outdoor structures and frequently experiment with contrast since I’m generally out at the wrong time of the day.
